Here’s wishing all of you a Happy New Year.
We had our online meeting & started discussing a work by Greek astrologer, Paulus Alexandrinus. He uses the whole sign house system and uses no orbs for aspects as do the Hindus. We will continue looking at these recently translated works by ancient astrologers.
I would like to focus on some major astrological events that have & will happen in this current time frame.
The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Gemini on Nov. 30th. Since Trump is a Gemini, this eclipse, eclipsed him. He appears to have lost the election.
The New Moon Solar Eclipse on Dec. 14th in Sagittarius. Since Biden has Sagittarius rising, he was eclipsed by this eclipse. The Hunter story has gained strength.
The conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. Good Jupiter came to difficult Saturn. An example of good coming to bad is the vaccine for the virus.
The square of Mars and Uranus with Saturn and Jupiter in January ’21. This represents conflict and trouble.
These astrological events are what we are watching in astrology. And we are watching for corresponding earth events.
Other events in recent time, were that over 5000 thousand were killed in fighting between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Oct. and early November. This was Jupiter and Pluto squaring Mars.
In the UK, the first vaccine was given on Dec. 8th under a Virgo Moon. Virgo is the sign of health.
Under a negotiating Libra Moon on Dec.10th, Israel and Morocco recognized each other.
Under a financial Taurus Moon, the EU and the UK made a trade deal on Dec. 26th.
Of course the main stories this past year were the virus, politics, and violence in cities that started with George Floyd’s death. The virus was the conjunction of Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter. The connection between these planets means extreme loss with help. The help is the medical community and the development of the vaccine. And these planets were in political sign Capricorn, which activates everything, political and governmental. The violence was Mars in Aries squaring Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto. The square lasts from July through early January ’21. The violence appeared to be from late May ’20 until the Nov. election. The initial correspondent of Floyd’s death was a conjunction of Mars and Neptune. Mars is violent and Neptune is about images, mythology, and even film. We saw the film of his murder and it had a powerful impact on the country.
Next month, we are looking at the troublesome square involving 5 bodies, Mars, Uranus, Sun, Saturn, and Jupiter. So we expect trouble. This is in effect for the inauguration, so we expect a troubled administration. And we see Mercury in Aquarius from week 2 of January until week 3 of March. This long stay in one sign shows a prolonged concern and/or interest. And Aquarius is about things and people that are particularly unusual and interesting.
Another upcoming planetary configuration that will last a couple of years and has just started, is a square between Uranus and Saturn. Saturn is difficult and Uranus is unexpected. So we are looking at difficulties of an unexpected nature. We need to be smart, upbeat, and positive in our thoughts, words, and deeds. On the plus side, this could bring some scientific advances.
Also, Saturn rules Aquarius and Uranus, which also rules Aquarius, is like Aquarius. This sign is futuristic and about progress. We will be seeing this.
Finally, most of the eclipses next year are in Gemini or Sagittarius, so they will produce events concerning ideas and communication.
Fairly good days this month are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16, 18, 23, & 30.
