Sun Signs for September 2023

The information in this column is limited. It does not replace your seeing your astrologer. If you know the sign of your Moon and your Ascending sign, read those sections also. This information is helpful because it mentions planets passing through your sign. These do bring opportunities.
Special note: Here’s wishing all of you the best in September. The emphasis this month is on the signs Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Taurus. Whatever we have in our own charts, we also become these qualities temporarily. Taurus possesses, Leo performs, Virgo serves, and Libra relates. Jupiter left Aries and entered Taurus on May 16 and stays for a year. This promotes Taurus things like finances, nature, and beauty. Jupiter in Taurus moves toward Uranus. Jupiter is expansive & Uranus is unusual. Together they can bring unusual good. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3 and Mercury all month are in Virgo; we are analytical and work oriented. Mercury is retrograde until the 15th, so, lets focus to avoid use of the erasor and the seam riper. While in Virgo, bodies will make good connections with other planets and this is good for us. Venus continues in Leo. We act socially and love with flare. Venus squares Jupiter and Uranus and this brings the unpredictable and excessive in social life. Venus’ retrograde is over on the 3rd. We should get out of the social and love loop. The Sun in week 4, and Mars all month are in Libra; the Sun makes relating important and Mars can cause trouble here. Let’s try to compose and relate well. Mars squares Pluto later in the month and requires positive action from us to avoid trouble. Saturn is in Pisces and stays until Feb. ’26. Pisceans will have some concerns that they should address by setting goals to fill any deficiencies that they encounter. And they will have opportunities to build disipline and accomplish. Saturn can also promote drive and get us where we want to go, through positive qualities like planning, work, & learning from setbacks. We should be careful about who we team up with; and make sure that they can pull their weight. Uranus in Taurus until 2026 brings the unexpected in finances, and the original in art. For Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius dealing with the unexpected or disruptive is on tap. This will take good managerial skills and the ability to know what we can manage, and what we can’t. Resting, being one of the good guys, and not living on the edge are important. Neptune is still in its long term stay in its own sign of altered states, Pisces. Meditation can help us do this in legal and safe ways. Now that Saturn is also in Pisces with Neptune, we have two very different influences there; one is imaginative and the other is practical.
Pluto is back in Capricorn again and will continue to affect both late Capricorns and early Aquarians. Both should address any forceful things, people, and situations that they meet. This can bring the development of positive force and dynamism. Activity with constructive groups can be good. On a larger scale, Pluto is vacilating between affecting government when in Capricorn to affecting humanity when in Aquarius.
A Full Moon in Aries from later on the 28th until later on the 30th contrasts identity versus relationships. And it brings us moonlight to enjoy.
A New Moon in Virgo on the 13th, 14th, and morning of the 15th brings a new start in projects.
Remember that new, full, and quarter moons are powerful times during the month. Actions taken at these times should be positive and well thought out. The quarter moons are in Gemini later on the 5th, the 6th, and 7th and in Sagittarius on the afternoon of the 20th, the 21st, and much of the 22nd.
Days that look fairly harmonious this month are: 4, 9, 14, 15, 24, & 28. For really important events, it requires a deeper look. Part of the magic of Astrology is how much better things go when we start things on good days.

Aries: March 20 to April 20. (Iran’s Moon, Angelina Jolie’s Moon, Manafort’s Sun, Pelosi’s Sun, A.O.C.’s Moon, Bernie’s Moon, Kamala Harris’ Moon) Venus, all month trines you from Leo and bring support, love, and enthusiasm. Mars opposes you all month and brings energy and energetic people. They may bring opportunity but be at your best by managing stress and conflict. The Sun in week opposes you and brings important people with opportunity if you can get along with powrful types. Pluto continues to square those late in the sign through ’24. So, try to meet events that seem a big deal with positive correcting action. And continue to build your authority while staying on good terms with those above you. Moon in your sign on the 1st, 2nd, and am 3rd brings people and events. And Full Moon in your sign later on the 28th, the 29th, and most of the 30th brings people and events and a focus on you.
Taurus: April 21 to May 21. (Biden’s Moon, Israel’s Sun, Melania’s Sun, Manafort’s Moon, Schumer’s Moon, O’rourke’s Moon, Booker’s Sun, E. Warren’s Moon) Jupiter entered your sign on May 16th and stays for a year. This is big and good. It brings opportunity and good things and people to you. The new optimism and confidence will get you where you want to go. Uranus re-entered your sign on March ’19 and stays until 2026; this will bring very interesting things and people to you. New vistas will open up for you. Plan for the unexpected; you will be managing it. Also be a good judge of character to avoid the influence of unreliable people. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3, and Mercury all month, trine you from Virgo and bring support. Venus in Leo squares you all month; try to take care with love, social life, and money. Pluto in early Aquarius or late Capricorn squares those early in your sign and trines those late in your sign. For the early people, try to learn how to take positive action when dealing with forceful things, people, and situations. And deal with good groups. If people are crossing a line with you, take positive action. Step into your new authority but also stay on good terms with those above you. For those late in the sign, Pluto continues to trine you; continue to pursue good groups, seeking and learning. The Sun in week 4 and Mars all month trine you from Libra and bring energy and support. Saturn is in Pisces now, squares you, and stays for a couple of years. Try to build self esteem and speak well to get some good out of this. If you note defficiencies in your life, set sensible goals to fill them. Your authority is growing; but make sure that you still get along with those above you. Also, get enough rest. Neptune is in Pisces squaring you until ’25. Imagination can come to you and add to your creativity. Some focus on reality can keep you balanced. Also, stay on good terms with those above you. Pluto in early Aquarius or late Capricorn is trining those early in the sign; groups can benefit you and make you more dynamic. The Sun in week 4 and Mars all month square you from Libra. This could bring energy, but manage stress if necessary. Get along with the powerful. Saturn began 2 years of trining you from Pisces on the 7th of March. You should have more discipline and new goals. Seeking and learning is coming to you. An opposition from Pluto to those late in your sign requires taking action when you meet a situation or person of force. This will continue for those late in the sign through ’24. So, many of you are past Pluto’s effects. Neptune is trining you from Pisces until ’25; this benefits you and makes you more imaginative, insightful, and promotes learning. Moon in your sign on the 8th, 9th, and morning of the 10th brings people and events.
Leo: July 24 to Aug 23. (Timberlake’s Ascendant, Obama’s Sun, Schwarzenegger’s Sun, Caylee’s Sun, Israel’s Moon, Trump ‘s Ascendant, Robert Mueller’s Sun, Andrew Gillum’s Sun) Venus, all month is in your sign. This brings beneficial people who bring opportunity. On May the 16th, Jupiter went into Taurus and squares you for a year. Opportunity and expansion are possible, but try to avoid excess, extremes, overconfidence, and laxness with rules. Uranus also in Taurus squares you until 2026. You may be managing the unexpected. Maintain balance and manage that which you can. New vistas will open up to you. Watch out for undo influence and try to get along with those above you. Saturn left Aquarius and its opposition to you on March 7th. You may have made some good progress under this. But heal yourself if necessary. Pluto whether in late Capricorn or early Aquarius until late ’24, opposes those early in your sign for years. Address force with proper action and become dynamic. Virgo: Aug 24 to Sept 23. Jupiter went into Taurus on May 16th and stays for a year. This brings opportunity, good, and new learning to you. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3, and Mercury all month are in your sign. The Sun brings important people and is a good time to build personal power. Mercury brings interesting things and people. Mercury goes direct on the 15th, so, things should go more smoothly. Saturn is in Pisces and opposes you for a couple of years. This is very important. Success can come from planning, setting doable goals, work, and having discipline. Make sure you get enough rest & sleep. You will be meeting new people; get along but also make sure that they are good for you. Neptune is opposing you from Pisces until ’25. This will make you more imaginative but value building discipline and seeing reality. See mate clearly. A positive attitude towards imaginative people will bring beneficial contacts. The Sun in week 4 and Mars all month are in your sign. This brings energy and important and energetic people, who may have opportunity for you. Manage stress and conflict if necessary. Continue to do your Tai Chi or Yoga. This will get you on good terms with Pluto, which is still squaring those late in the sign, and shows them dealing with imponderable forces, especially in the family and home. Try to build self esteem. Through ’24 Pluto will also trine those early in the sign and bring support, and some entertainment. Uranus is in Taurus until 2026. It opposes you. Unusual people, things, and events will come to you. Perk up your self esteem and do not succumb to influence. You will be managing the unpredictable. New vistas will open up for you. Jupiter joins Uranus starting on May 16th and lasts for a year. Jupiter and Uranus together can bring unexpected good. Try to maintain your respect for law and avoid extremes. Venus all month squares you from Leo. Try to get along. Saturn is now trining you from Pisces and brings success through Saturn things like work, goals, discipline and planning etc. This will last a couple of years. Neptune in Pisces trines you. It is very important to try to succeed through work, setting goals, discipline, and planning while getting enough rest and sleep. Jupiter entered Taurus on May 16th and stays for a year. Its square from Aries will be replaced by a lucky trine from Taurus, that brings support. Uranus is trining from Taurus until 2026 and brings creativity, interesting people, and unexpected support. Jupiter’s joining Uranus could bring unexpected good to you. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3 and Mercury all month, trine you from Virgo and bring support and recognition from work. The Sun in week 4 and Mars all month square you from Libra; relationships require special attention, and try to build self esteem, and manage stress and conflict. Pluto, back in Capricorn, continues to affect those late in your sign through ’24 whether it’s in late Capricorn or early Aquarius. Jupiter entered Taurus on May 16th and stays for a year and also joins Uranus. It is important to look for opportunities and stay on good terms with people. Respect for rules and the law is important. Jupiter and Uranus together can bring some good luck but take care with money. Venus, all month, opposes you from Leo. This has social and artistic possibilities, but build self esteem and get along. The Sun in week 4 and Mars all month trine you from Libra; and bring support, people, and energy. It is also an opportunity to succeed by doing Saturn things like being more disciplined, practical, and ambitious. Any deficiencies should be met with sensible goals to fill them. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3 and Mercury all month oppose you from Virgo. Build self esteem and speak well. You may be more focused on work. Neptune is in your sign from ’12 until ’25. This is huge.
