From the Desk of Leslie Marlar, March ’19
For those of you who are local, S.T.A.R. Guild astrology study group meets on Tuesday, March 26th at the library in Cocoa, at 6 pm in Rm. 3. We will look at our Venus project, more Supreme Court Justices, and the lunation chart of the new astrological year. This past month we looked at the charts of A.O.C., Kavanaugh, & Ginsburg. A.O.C. has Venus in Sagittarius. She is enthusiastic and a zealot about her ideas. She has a cardinal grand cross involving Mercury, Mars, the Sun, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, the Moon, and Jupiter. Cardinal grand crosses are tense and active. They are focused on problems and show conflict.
When Kavanaugh was involved in the Ford/Kavanaugh hearings, Mars was in Aquarius where he has the Sun, Mercury, and Venus and squaring Neptune and Jupiter in his chart. When Ginsburg had her cancer surgery, Mars was in Pisces where she has Venus and the Sun. This placement opposes Mars, Neptune, and Jupiter in her chart. Watch Mars when it is in an important part of your chart.
Last month many events happened.
Early in the month we watched the Virginia Governor, Lt. Governor, and Att. General deal with past events involving racial insensitivity or accusations of sexual abuse.
We also saw the New Green Deal.
At mid-month, Smollette was dropped as a victim of an attack and added as a suspect of staging an attack by the Chicago police.
Also Trump declared an emergency at the border to free up money for a wall.
The Daytona 500 happened 2 days before the full moon and there were 3 large accidents.
As the month ends, we have the Cohen testimony and Trump in Hanoi talking with Kim Jung Un. Also note that Barr is in and Mueller is out; he’s finishing up.
This past month Mercury has been in Pisces where it met Neptune and squared Jupiter. Mercury is like the news; it is what we are aware of. Neptune can be fantastically strange, and Jupiter is the law or rules. Even for events that happened before Mercury going into Pisces on the 10th; we are still talking about them. Fantastically strange is a pretty good description of many events this month.
In March, the Sun is in Pisces in weeks 1, 2, and 3 and Mercury is there all month. More fantastically strange stuff is coming. What will Mardi Gras be like?Venus squares Mars. This can be creative but is also about tense male female relationships.
Uranus goes back into Taurus as it did in mid-May last year. Last year we had Kiluea. This is because of a slow moving planet moving from a fire sign to an earth sign. From a personal standpoint, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius may find themselves trying to manage disruption. Many of us need to develop our managerial skills, but may also feel that new vistas are opening up for us. New Moon in Pisces on the 5th, 6th, and much of the 7th brings a new start in our emotions and for Pisces people. Full Moon in Libra late on the 18th, the 19th, and most of the 20th contrasts identity versus relating.
Fairly good days this month are 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 16, 25, 26, 30, and 31.
I’ll be at the Cocoa Village Art & Crafts Show doing astrology readings at Angel’s Oasis on March 2.
On March 10 I’ll be at the lovely Yoga Shakti Mission in Palm Bay on Heild rd. talking about the planets in 2019 at 9am. Spring is the beginning of the astrological year.
See me at Book and Bead in Merritt Island on the 16th for astrology readings.
Have a great month. Watch for more the fantastic strangeness and call or email me if you need me.
