From the Desk of Leslie Marlar, Oct. ’20

S.T.A.R. Guild will have its Oct. meeting on Tuesday, the 27th at 6 pm on skype. To connect with us, message me on skype at leslie marlar.

The past month we talked about the charts of the candidates. It is complex and a judgment call as to who will win. Since the meeting I have looked at recent elections where we have birth times of the candidates as we do now.

The transiting planets do not appear to support Biden. Kamala’s chart is much more engaged. But Trump’s looks more engaged. He has the Moon (the people) on his Sun (Success) on election day and Uranus in the sign of his Midheaven. Obama had the Moon on his Sun, and Mercury near his Midheaven when he won against Romney, despite the fact that Romney had lucky Jupiter in his Ascendant sign. This makes it sound like the Midheaven is more important than the Ascendant. But Clinton beat Dole with Venus in his Ascendant sign and Jupiter and Neptune near Dole’s Midheaven.

Kamala has the Moon near her Ascendant and Neptune near her Midheaven. And Mercury is on her Sun.

Eclipses will be happening in Gemini and Sagittarius in Nov. and Dec. These signs are important for all three mentioned, but much more important for Trump with a Gemini Sun and a Sagittarius Moon.

In Sept. we had a number of events. The continuing square between Mars and Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn was exacerbated by a Mercury in Libra connection with the square. I associate this with trouble in the cities, injuries to police, fires in the west, and hurricanes in the southeast.

Woodward’s book came out under a Gemini Moon, which is the President’s Sun sign. But he also got nominated for a Nobel peace prize.

Possible life was detected on Venus and this made news with the Moon in Leo and Venus in Leo. Leo represents kids, young life.

The Mideast peace accord was signed with the Moon and Venus, planet of peace, in Leo.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died with the Sun in Virgo where she had three planets.

In Oct. the square continues and gets added stimulation by the Sun in Libra connecting with it. Mercury is retrograde from the 13th, so we should make an effort to pay extra attention to what we are saying and doing.

Full Moon on the 1st and 2nd in Aries contrasts “me versus thou” issues.

New Moon on the 15th and 16th in Libra is a new start in relationships.

And another Full Moon in Taurus later on the 30th and the 31st contrasts different financial views.

Call me if you need me.
