From the Desk of Leslie Marlar, Dec. ’16

For those of you who are local, S.T.A.R. Guild will have their Christmas party on Wed., Dec. 14th at 6:30 at Grills on Rt. 1 near the Pineda Causeway. We bring a wrapped gift under $10 for exchange. Let me know if you will be there. On January 24th it’s back to the Cocoa library for our usual meeting at 6 pm.

I am looking forward to the ending of the Uranus Pluto square. It is weakening but Jupiter is keeping it alive much of the time until Oct. ’17. So we heard the usual extreme events this past month: earthquakes, train wrecks etc. In the chart for the Nov. 20th 3 am Kanpur, India train wreck, the Moon is oppose Mars, Saturn is with Mercury in Sagittarius, and the Jupiter, Uranus Pluto T square is angular. Over 140 people were killed.
Castro died with Mars in Aquarius. He had many planets in all of the fixed signs, including Mars and Saturn.
In Dec., Mars will join Neptune later in the month. We should be clear and focused in our actions.
New Moon in Capricorn on the 28th, 29th, and most of the 30th is a great time to make a new start with new goals. Full Moon in Gemini on the 12th and 13th focuses on communication and thought.
Fairly good days in December are: 3, 4, 5, 9, 17, am 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, & 31.

We noted that Trump’s planets made strong aspects to the U.S. Chart. He has 3 planets in Cancer, where the U.S. Chart has 4. He has no planets in Aquarius, our Moon sign, but Aquarius is angular in his chart. His Full Moon lunation cuts across the Ascendant/Descendant in the U.S. Chart.
Despite squares between planets in Cancer and planets in Libra, he does have some strong luck in his chart with Sun with Uranus trine Jupiter, and Jupiter sextile Moon.

As the election results started to turn, 10:30 and later, his rising sign, Leo was rising in the sky. Around 10, Uranus was with the MC., surprise! And the Moon in Pisces was descending, Hillary’s Moon sign.
Mars entered Aquarius, our Moon sign, around 1:00 am. I noted to a friend that whoever would cause the most turmoil, would win. Demonstrations started the next night.

A generous colleague noted that someone who knows Someone said that Hilary was born at 8 pm., not am. The pm chart is the one we had used in the past and the Scorpio rising chart came to us later. Of course the Scorpio rising chart is like a solar chart and does make a lot of sense. In the pm chart the last degree of Gemini is rising along with Uranus. This squares the 10th house Moon that is in the last degree of the last sign, Pisces. This square sounds like the wilileaks and email scandal, Gemini versus the 10th house. Along with this, Pluto, Saturn, and Mars are in the 3rd, square Mercury in Scorpio. She is well known with Moon in the 10th and she has some luck with the Moon trine Jupiter and the Sun trine Uranus. Despite this luck the Leo/Scorpio square seems a lot to deal with.
The Moon was in Pisces on election night. In the past, her Pisces Moon in the 10th seemed to work for her. The Clintons won the White House and she won the Senate seat under a Pisces Moon on those election days. In the primaries, she won one and lost 3 and Trump won 3 and lost one under a Pisces Moon. It seems that something has changed in her public persona.

In the inauguration chart, Trump’s MC sign is rising and the Moon in Scorpio is descending. Since she is a woman and a Scorpio, this Moon represents her. Also , his chart seems more stimulated now with Saturn on his Moon and Jupiter on his Jupiter.

And here is our View of 2017

Two planets in a tense relationship have made us aware of a conflict between extremes, including political views, since 2010. These planets are Uranus and Pluto. This relationship is weakening, but now is being kept alive a bit longer by Jupiter joining the mix for most of ’17.

Pluto has been opposing 4 planets, one after another, in the U.S. horoscope since 2008. The last planet, Mercury, is being opposed now. All of this affects the country’s finances.

Uranus has been squaring the same 4 planets, one after another, in the U.S. Chart since 2011. Once again, the last planet, Mercury is being opposed now. So, the country’s finances are still undergoing change.

Saturn has been causing difficulties and conflict in the Sagittarian areas of travel, foreign dealings, ideology, communication, and religion. This is happening from January ’15 to January ’18. So, 2017 is the last year for this. Could ISIS be on the way out?

A nice relationship between Saturn and Uranus in 2017 is going to bring good things in science.

In Jan ’18, Saturn will start opposing those 4 planets in the U.S. chart and continue to affect the country’s wealth. This will last for a couple of years.

Jupiter is in Libra from Sept. ’16 to Oct. ’17 and this benefits justice.

Mars is currently in Aquarius, the country’s Moon sign. This can cause turmoil but it will only last until mid December ’16. Huge changes come to the U.S. and the world when Saturn and Jupiter are in our Moon sign at the Jan. ’21 inauguration.

President-elect Trump has some difficulties in his horoscope, as most of us do, and also some very strong luck. His chart connects strongly with the U.S. Horoscope. The luck affects our relationships in the world and the government. The difficulties require care with finances and legislation.

Two eclipses affect Trump powerfully in ’17 around Feb. 10th and Aug. 21st. These can be life altering and may be part of why he will be the president; he goes into this with an altered life. Note the unusual view of time. We should always be a bit careful under eclipses.
