Star Guild met online and we figured some things out.
Here on the east coast of Florida we were having powerful wind and rain from Ian; this was nothing compared to what they had on the west coast. The chart of Florida has Mars in Sagittarius and Saturn, Neptune, Venus, and Mercury in Aquarius.. Here is what was happening in the sky. Mars is in Gemini stimulating Florida’s Mars and Saturn is in Aquarius stimulating the 4 planets Florida has in Aquarius.
Here is what my colleague C. and I noted during the meeting in reference to Ian and other things..
Flooding has been happening in various places. It has been raining in Pakistan since June, Fiona flooded Puerto Rico, and Ian flooded many parts of Florida. This is only part of the flooding in the world. Mars will square Neptune strongly in late September and Oct. But what about the other periods? Mars is squaring Neptune by sign from late August to late March. It appears that the square of the two by sign is enough. The degrees may not have to be that close. This is where we learn from watching events. In Vedic astrology, they focus on the sign, not the degree. So for example, a body anywhere in Gemini would square a body anywhere in Pisces.
Incidentally the official landfall chart for Ian has Pluto very close to the Capricorn Ascendant. Prior to landfall, the storm was lashing the coast with Sagittarius rising and Mars opposing in the 7th. Hurricane Charlie that hit the same part of Florida in ’04 had Pluto very close to a Sagittarius Ascendant.
We noted that three conservative women where elected recently in the world; this happened in England, Sweden, and Italy. There is a big picture explanation for this. In March ’23 three slow moving planets will change sign. Mars will leave Gemini after a 7 month stay. Pluto will move from Capricorn into Aquarius. And Saturn will move from Aquarius into Pisces. Planets changing sign show conditions and circumstances changing. Some of these countries take a while to form their new governments. And we have an election coming up too. Personally and globally, change is on tap.
The Queen died on Sept. 8th and Charles became King. I have an article on the astrology of the two on the front page of my site. This article will be published next month in the American Federation of Astrologers Journal.
On Sept. 27th the Nord Stream pipeline experienced an explosion. Sabotage is being considered. This is represented by Neptune square Mars because Neptune is oil and gas and Mars is destruction. And at this point, it is also a mystery; another Neptune feature,
In October, the Uranus Saturn square is very strong, so let’s be ready for some unexpected challenges, including technology and dry weather problems. The Mars Neptune square is also very strong and can produce conflict and wet weather problems.
Full Moon in Aries on the afternoon of the 8th, the 9th, and much of the 10th contrasts personal interests versus partner’s interests.
And a New Moon Solar Eclipse happens on the 25th and 26th. This is a powerful new start in the areas of research, emotions, and secrets.
Fairly good days this month are: 3, 4, 5, 13, 14, 20, 23, 24, & 30.
