S.T.A.R. Guild June ’18 Meeting Report

We looked at the Part of Fortune in our charts and the planet Jupiter. Both are associated with luck and wealth.

Member 1 has the Part in Libra and in the wholesign 2nd very close to the Ascendant & Jupiter is in Sagittarius in the 4th. He noted that he does have some personal luck and thought more money would come if he acted on opportunities. As to the 4th, he is the first of his family to be born in this country and as a result is the only one here.

Member 2 has the Part in Sagittarius in the 5th and Jupiter with the MC. He has no children and does not perform or gamble, and says that when he worked, he was being groomed for management but did not go through with it.

Member 3 has the Part in the 12th in Gemini and Jupiter in Scorpio in the 5th. She does cite help when trouble happens and has a sister who is a medium. The sister showed signs of this at age 8. She was an elementary school teacher for years and also has kids. She loves kids and teaching, Jupiter rules her 9th.

Member 4 has the Part in Scorpio in the 8th oppose Uranus, and Jupiter in Gemini near Uranus in the 2nd or 3rd depending on using Placidus or whole sign. She did well in real estate which requires the ability of clients to get loans. Jupiter in the 2nd does fit. She is also a seeker with nothing in Sagittarius, and Jupiter in Gemini in the wholesign 3rd might suffice.

Member 5 has the Part in Gemini in the 5th and Jupiter in Pisces in the 2nd with the Sun and in a grand trine with a Cancer Moon and Neptune and the MC in Scorpio. She has grown kids but seldom sees them after a divorce. Mercury rules her 5th and is with Saturn. I expected a career in caring or helping, but she worked for the post office. She says that she was noted as always being happy at work.

Member 6 has the Part in Cancer in the 4th and Jupiter in Scorpio in the 8th. She notes with happiness a good relationship with her mother and the ability to go home anytime. Home is in another state. She just got her first loan easily.

Conclusion. My impression is that Jupiter made a stronger statement than the Part in terms of harmony and luck. The one exception is member 4, the real estate person. But she also has Venus and Mercury in Cancer, with Mercury trine Mars ruler of the 8th. The three members that we saw last month had one with Jupiter and the Part performing well. Another had the condition and effects of both mixed. And the 3rd had the Part perform fairly well and Jupiter mixed in aspects and effects. So the Part was not that impressive and Jupiter depended on conditions in our charts.
