For those of you who are local, S.T.A.R. Guild Astrology study group meets on Jan. 28th at the main library in Cocoa, 308 Forrest Ave. at 6pm. We’ll be revisiting a look at some pilgrims, discussing Mars in Libra, and starting to discuss unaspected planets in the horoscope. As always bring your own chart and any chart of interest or a chart of a current important event.
We continue to watch the implementation of Obamacare. It’s looking pretty rough as is the chart set up for the signing of the bill. Also we are dealing with a grand cross consisting of Mars in Libra, Uranus in Aries, Jupiter in Cancer, and Pluto in Capricorn. Here we have 4 planets criss crossing in active Cardinal signs. These signs also represent the movers and shakers in society. This tense activity applies to anything started from Dec 7 ’13 until mid -July ’14. Also these signs are the ones in the grand cross in the Obamacare bill. The fate of the bill sounds iffy. Aside from that, we need to behave well during this period to get some good out of this planetary structure. Each of us have some control over our lives. We want to be actively building but not be plagued by unmanaged stress. (Mars) We want to be optimistic while still seeing the facts clearly. (Jupiter) We want to dig down deep and reach our dynamism and act before we get overwhelmed. (Pluto) And we want to be original and progressive without becoming radical. (Uranus) Does this grand cross mean that there is going to be a zombie apocalypse? Probably not. But let’s really think, feel, and act in a positive way while forging ahead. With my new Heisenberg hat, I’m going to start building my Astrology empire.
Venus continues in Capricorn until March and this can bring nice things to Capricorns. Designer clothes and nice tailored things come to mind. And definitely marrying up. Some say Venus in Mars’ exaltation sign and Mars in Venus’ home sign is a mutual reception. This could bode well for goals and relationships and may help our grand cross a bit.
