Sun signs for August 2024

The big story this month is that Mars is near Jupiter for most of the month. Mars is energetic and Jupiter is expansive. So we can translate this as lots of energy or lots of action. We can also say that Jupiter is optimistic, and adding Mars shows us acting on optimism.

Since Mars is also trouble and Jupiter is good and big, the other side of this is big trouble or trouble happening to good people. As an example, Notre Dame burned under a Mars Jupiter connection, years ago.

If this were not enough, Jupiter is square Saturn all month. This is a conflict between two planets, one says yes and the other says no. This tug-a-war can play out in many areas. Mars for most of the month connects with this by squaring Saturn and conjuncting Jupiter. So trouble is added to the mix. Venus, a female planet, connects with this in week 3 and may be a moderating influence. In week 4, Mars squares Neptune and adds confusion to the mix.
